Portland: Where to Shop

solabee flowers

Finally got to visit Portland last week, and I fell in love HARD. Being a Portlandia fan, I already knew I was going to really dig the city - but it ended up exceeding my expectations tenfold. What a lush, gorgeous, tree-filled wonderland! Eddie and I seriously loved everything about it. The food was delicious, the people were so friendly, and the shops! I had so much fun hopping around visiting all the perfect little boutiques. A few of my favorite places we visited are below - I can't wait to go back and explore more on our next trip!

Solabee Flowers & Botanicals

When a plant shop is Insta-famous, you know it must be something special. Solabee Flowers was one of our first stops when we landed in Portland. Hello, plant shop goals! The most beautiful displays, and I spotted a bunch of rare and unusual looking green bbs I hadn't seen before. The florists were prepping for an event while we were there, it was so cool to see them working on large, beautiful bouquets. Super dreamy!

WM Goods

This lovely Downtown PDX shop is beautifully curated. While visiting WM Goods I found a wooden hand painted evil eye wall hanging that I just had to get. And that hanging chair! Wish I could have brought that home with me as well.

Alder & Co

All sorts of gorgeous things sold here at Alder & Co! Flowers, clothing, jewelry, textiles, home goods, beauty products, and more. Plus, anything with a neon sign in the window that says "Let's Play" is tip top in my book.

Woonwinkel

This homegoods shop is positively dreamy! Also, I was asked if I wanted a glass of sparkling wine when I walked through the door - um, YES and helloooo store of my dreams. Woonwinkel has the loveliest Monstera Vine installation by Natalie Joy in their window right now, which was giving me all the feels

Pistils Nursery

Another Insta-famous greenery-filled heaven, Pistils Nursery was at the top of my PDX must-see list. And it definitely did not disappoint! In addition to all the lush botanicals, this shop sells beautiful pottery, crystals and gemstones, macrame plant hangers, baskets, books (I see you, Urban Jungle Bloggers!), windchimes, and lots, lots more.

Vine & Dandy

At the super cool Tidbit Food Farm and Garden on Southeast Division Street you'll find yummy food cart pods and perfect little mobile boutiques that I'm seriously obsessed with. My fave was the brand spanking new Vine & Dandy, an absolutely adorbs plant shop located inside the Lodekka Double Decker Pop-Up Shop. I loved chatting with the owner while I browsed all her beautiful botanical themed gifts, and ended up purchasing the most lovely floral smudge stick you've ever seen! "I'm never burning this, FYI." I made sure to tell her as I handed her my credit card. It's too gorge to burn!

Are you a PDX native, or have you visited this magical city before? I'd love to hear which shops are your faves. Let me know in the comments so I can be sure to pop in on my next trip!
