Adventures in Tempe, Arizona
This post was sponsored by Tempe Tourism, all opinions expressed are my own - as always!
The first time I visited Arizona was earlier this year and I fell in love hard! Such a magical state with the most beautiful Saguaro-filled desert landscapes, gorge warm sunny weather, and breathtaking sunsets. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity to return and explore the wonderfully offbeat town of Tempe in partnership with Tempe Tourism. Located in the heart of Metropolitan Phoenix, Eddie and I spent a fun-filled fall weekend here taking in the sights and experiences. Keep scrolling for where we stayed, what we ate, and all the adventures we had during our viz.
A Relaxing Weekend in Santa Barbara
I’ve been to Santa Barbara a handful of times, but only for day trips and never overnight! It’s such a beautiful city, only 2 hours up the coast from Los Angeles and so much fun to explore. Eddie and I decided to make it a weekend getaway this time, taking it slow instead of trying to pack in as much as possible in one day. Since we’ve been here before, we didn’t feel the need to revisit the usual tourist attractions, and instead spent a lot of time relaxing at our beautiful hotel, going on bike rides, and taking the most gorge walk around the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.
Exploring the Darling Town of Los Alamos, CA
If you’re in the mood for a quaint lil California getaway filled with delish food, gem-filled antique shops, and amaze wines, Los Alamos is for you. A sweet, tiny town in Santa Barbara county with an Old West rancher vibe, the majority of shops and restaurants cover a 3 block stretch on the main road of Bell Street. You could easily explore everything in one day, but I’d recommend taking it slow and soaking in all the goodness - unwind and take your time! I was looking to do just that, and since Eddie had to work this particular weekend, I decided to take a little solo trip and explore the town by myself. Where I stayed, ate, drank, and shopped below!
