If you're looking to spend a beautiful day outside surrounded by flowers, plants, and PEACOCKS, look no further than the Los Angeles Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Over 127 acres of beauty in the city of Arcadia, the grounds are seriously breathtaking. And the peacocks!! Over 200 of them live here, and they roam happy and free. 

It's my fave time of year! Summer always makes me happy. Warm nights, pool parties, road trips, and bbqs - I'm alllll about it. I love the laid back, fun-loving vibe in the air - seems like everyone's living their best life during these months. I wanted to share one of my fave types of summer outfits, perfect for any of your summer activities - relaxed and comfy, but still cute and stylish. Made complete by these gorge Sperry loafers!

Our bathroom redesign is finally complete! From the moment we took a tour of our new place 5 months ago, I started designing in my head how I wanted the bathroom to look. It's been a slow process, but it's finally at a place I'm happy with. I wanted to take you on a little tour of the space and show you the changes we made!

I was introduced to Flores Lane through a candle making workshop at Angel City Brewery in DTLA hosted by Trish Baden, the creator. Eddie and I had a blast sipping beers, jamming to 90's rap, & learning about the candle making process from Trish. She gave off such good vibes and has a wonderful fun-loving attitude, plus the candles we made were deeeelish. Trish was nice enough to invite Eddie and I over to her home studio where she runs her small business, in the heart of West Hollywood. I loved hearing her story and seeing where she concocts all her candles. Keep scrolling for the magic!

I've wanted a bar cart for a couple years now, but unfortunately we just didn't have the room in our old apartment! When we moved into our new place however, I told myself I would 100% be incorporating a bar cart into the space. So I got to designing, and the above shot is the finished nook :) I wanted to take you through my process of designing this lil space, as well as give you some tips for creating a fun drink zone of your own!

By now you probably know that comfort is key when it comes to my style. I do love to get dressed up and throw on a pair of heels every now and then, but my day to day outfits consist of mostly flowy, loose pieces paired with flats, sandals, or boots. This two piece look has got to be one of my comfiest outfits to date! Plus I can never resist this camel color, I lob it so much. 

This was the room I was most excited to design in our new home, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! We didn't have a dining table at our old apartment, so being able to entertain family and friends here in the new house has been something I've been looking forward to. I'm always on the hunt for plant shops and nurseries in LA, so I kinda can't believe I had never been to this lil slice of jungle paradise called Rainforest Flora before! It's especially a must visit if you're a Tillandsia (also known as air plants!) lover, since that's their specialty. They're the largest producer of Tillandsias in North America and one of the largest in the world. How amaze is that? Complete with waterfalls, turtles, fish, and a jungle kitty, it really is a dream.
