As part of my LA Loves series, the goal is to share my fave businesses, places to visit, and fab things to do right here in Los Angeles. I love learning and experiencing new things, and LA is a great place for workshops. I’ve learned how to make candles, clay wall hangings, meditate, and make the perfect cup of pour over coffee! Over the weekend Eddie and I had the pleasure of taking a Concrete Geometric Workshop - we learned techniques for working with concrete and color to create gorge planters. The latest nook we’ve attacked in the hobbit house is our TV wall! It’s been pretty sad looking since we moved in, and was in desperate need of some good vibes styling. We’d been using our old coffee table as the TV stand and a crate to hold my records, but I was ready for something a bit sleeker. I wanted to share with you some tips on beautifying your own TV wall if you’ve been feeling blah about your current sitch, like I was!

One of my fave things about California is all the different climates you can experience within just a 2 hour drive from Los Angeles. Beaches, deserts, snow, mountains - this gorge state has it all. I’m always pining for a lil getaway and this time I set my sights on Idyllwild - a small town nestled in the San Jacinto mountains among the pines. It was my first time visiting and I really fell in love with this beautiful forest village! Especially the Airbnb Eddie and I stayed at. The owners have created such a wonderful cabin sanctuary, and the attention to detail is impeccable. It’s such a special place that we actually spent most of our time in Idyllwild enjoying the cozy home!

I'm on a quest to visit all the Los Angeles botanical gardens I can get my mitts on and finally crossed this oasis off my list over the weekend. The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens is a wonderful educational and research institution in San Marino, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. 

You guys know I love a California weekend getaway! Solvang is one of the loveliest in my opinion - just the sweetest little Danish village in Santa Ynez Valley, roughly 2 and a half hours north of Los Angeles. Windmills, twinkle lights, tree-lined streets, darling boutiques and wine tasting galore. What's not to love? Eddie and I visited once before a few years back, but this was my first time spending a few nights in town. My mom and sister were visiting from New York and we made it a fun lil girls weekend. I wanted to share with you all the things we did and where we stayed, for you to enjoy your own getaway in this presh town! Keep scrolling for all the sights.
