On Top of LA

I visited the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City this week and it was absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful 360° views of Los Angeles, really cool plants, trees, and wildlife - what more could you ask for? I went during golden hour so everything looked extra magical.

The embarrassing part is that I've lived 10 minutes from here for over 4 years now, and this was my first. time. visiting. Skull emoji, I know. I guess I never realized you didn't have to hike up the hill to enjoy the view - there's a road leading right up! I'm a horrrrrible person to hike with, if there's any sort of incline I complain and get super grouchy (sorryboutit), so I was in shock when Eddie informed me that I wouldn't have to climb the dreaded Culver Stairs, we could park at the top. Uhhh yes please! Slothy me was very happy. 
 

Definitely a must-visit if you're traveling from out of town, or if you're a bad Angeleno like me and just haven't gotten around to it yet. And if you're UNlike me and a hiker, it's a pretty beautiful place to exercise!
