Manhattan Beach Afternoon

A perk of living in Southern California is that beach days happen year round! Although Venice has my heart, Manhattan Beach is my go-to for actually laying out or going in the water (which happens rarely, I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to the ocean). It's absolutely beautiful, clean, and only 15 minutes away from our home. Plus, it's usually not as crowded as the super popular beaches in Santa Monica or Malibu.  

There are some amazing mini beach mansions right on the boardwalk, and lots of gorgeous little public gardens sprinkled throughout. I love looking at all the architecture and imagining what type of person lives inside! It really is a fun, beautiful place for a stroll.

Downtown Manhattan Beach leads right up to the pier, and it's filled with yummy restaurants, fun bars, and cute little shops. If you're in the area or planning a visit, it really is a must-see!
