Casa Joshua Tree
One of the reasons I love the Instagram community so much is it gives you the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing, talented people. Lindsay Hollinger is one of them! We met on the app a while back and I'm so happy to now call her a friend. As an artist and designer living in Joshua Tree, Lindsay has transformed her home into a dreamy desert paradise - it's literally swoon worthy. Eddie and I had the pleasure of visiting Lindsay at her Casa Joshua Tree during our JT trip for a little happy hour out on her recently re-designed, ridiculously beautiful patio. Wine, snacks, and lots of laughs made for such a fun time, and Lindsay was nice enough to let me snap a bunch of pics of her gorge space. Keep scrolling to see all the magic.
Lindsay moved to Joshua Tree about 2 years ago from Los Angeles, and since then has transformed her 3 bed/2 bath home into a cozy desert oasis. How amaze is this cactus filled fireplace?!
This chair was a lucky Craigslist score. I love the mix of old and new pieces Lindsay has curated in her home.
CJT is filled with such cute prickly bbs, all potted to perfection in terracotta pots and pretty ceramic planters. Lindsay gets such beautiful sunlight pouring into her home, it's easy to see why all her plant bbs thrive indoors.
I'm a big fan of coffee table scenes, and this sitch right here gives me all the heart eyes.
CJT is minimal bohemianism at its best. The way Lindsay plays with negative space on her walls is genius and v inspirational - she makes me want to be a minimalist!
A planty filled shower after my own heart.
Nbd, just the coolest towel rack I've ever laid eyes on.
I can't get enough of the pretty peach and orange tones Lindsay has sprinkled through her home. Such cheerful, warm colors that pop so nicely against the white walls and beds.
The best pillows can be found here at CJT - fact.
Lindsay made this branch window treatment herself, isn't it a total dream?
The master bedroom - when can I move in?
The master bath features the fab Justina Blakeney Cosmic Desert Wallpaper. As much as I loveeee a good wallpaper sitch, the thought of hanging it sends shivers down my spine, so big props to Lindsay for installing it all by herself.
The patio re-design was the latest CJT project and with Lindsay's magic touch she created this beautiful desert oasis. That peach floor! The cacti! All of it! Sitting here with a gorgeous mountain view is so relaxing, such good energy in this space.
Linsday sitting on my fave part of her new patio - the most amaze swing hammock she had custom built by a friend.
Gimme that swing, Lindsay!!!
As with the rest of CJT, all the pretty little details are what really make this space special. The love and care that went into every nook! The whole home was so well thought out and planned by Lindsay, and it shows.
This fuzzy grandpa cactus stole my heart. Neeeeeeed.
I had to join her on this swing! I'd been drooling over it for weeks after she shared her big reveal of the new patio on Instagram. I can imagine lying here at sunset with a glass of wine and some records playing - soooo lovely.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
