A Day in Malibu
Oh how I love Malibu days! Such a gorgeous town, breathtaking ocean views everywhere you look and that amaze ocean air. It can be a bit of a trek from the rest of Los Angeles, but the drive up Pacific Coast Highway is worth it. Keep scrolling for a few of my fave things to do when in the 'Bu.
Malibu Farm is a must, whether for brunch, lunch, or a few cocktails (I'm partial to the watermelon vodka :P). Right on the pier, you can't beat a beautiful day sitting on the water. The restaurant itself is gorgeous too, both the interior and outside patio. Perf way to start your day!
I always make sure to stop by the Malibu Country Mart when I'm in the area. It's an adorbs outdoor shopping center nestled against the mountains off PCH. I'm obsessed with the Urban Outfitters there, they have such an amazing outdoor area. A yurt, fire pit, market string lights, lots of planties & trees, reclaimed wood table, and a mountain view - yes please!
Jungle vibes everywhere!
While at MCM, stop by Saje for some natural wellness. Essential oils, diffusers, and plant based goodness all sold here. They also just opened a store on Abbot Kinney in Venice and I'm so happy about it!
Some gelato yumminess from Grom is always a good idea!
A trip to Malibu wouldn't be complete without going to the beach. El Matador is absolutely gorgeous, and during golden hour it really is magic. Park for free on PCH and walk down to admire the view from on top of the cliffs. Then take the stairs all the way down to the sand and enjoy!
If you're in the mood for wine and fun, Malibu Wines is a great place to bring a picnic and share a bottle or two with friends. I also love the Malibu Cafe, gorgeous grounds and yummy food. Where are your fave spots in Malibu? Let me know in the comments!
