Glamping Eco Tent in Vista, CA
It’s tradition for Eddie and I to go on a little getaway around Christmas. It serves as a nice escape from the Los Angeles holiday craze, and doubles as a birthday trip for moi (I’m a Christmas eve bb!). Last year we went to Borrego Springs, and the year before we went to Temecula. This year, we headed to Vista in San Diego County, where I booked us a stay at the most darling Eco Tent Airbnb.
The moment we pulled onto the street, I knew it was a special place. Up a windy road in the hills with beautiful homes and landscapes filled with succulents, fruit trees, palms, and more - it was clear we were in for a treat. We arrived during golden hour and when we got out of the car to explore the property, I actually got a lil teary eyed - it’s just so gorge!
Surrounded by protea, trees, and nature as far as the eye can see - felt like heaven.
The lights, chiminea, and hammock in the yard are so dreamy, dontcha think?

The tent is a total glamping experience as there’s a solar heated bathroom with a sink, lovely walk-in rain shower, and even an eco composting toilet.
The lil outdoor kitch had everything you could need, including a mini fridge, toaster oven, hot plate, french press, and herbs and spices from the property.
Loved sitting out here for morning breakfasts and at night to watch the sunset. Candles lit, cozied up with blankets and pillows - so peaceful and relaxing!
When we zipped down the opening for the tent and stepped inside, I gasped - the pics didn’t do it justice! The owners really decorated the space to perfection, it felt so cozy and homey. The bed was super comfy too, and I just love all the African decor.
The little wood burning stove for cold nights.
The bar cart was filled with games like mancala, backgammon, chess pieces, connect four, and a deck of cards.
Sunsets here are the best. Each night was more spectacular than the one before - the colors!
I hope to visit again someday. You can find the Airbnb link HERE if you want to experience the magic for yourself! You’ll have to let me know how you like it :) Hope you all had a fab holiday week and HAPPY NEW YEAR in advance!
