Laguna Beach House
Laguna Beach has been a favorite escape of mine and Eddie’s when we’re in the mood for some relaxation and fresh ocean air. Which is pretty much all time, let’s be honest! Beautiful beaches, gorge boutiques, yummy cafes, and only an hour away from our house in Los Angeles makes it an easy breezy lil getaway. We had the pleasure of staying at Laguna Beach House for the first time and it was such a delight. Sharing some highlights from our trip!
Right when you walk into Laguna Beach House you’re greeted to this cozy California cool lobby filled with vintage furniture and fun pops of color. It makes you feel right at home!
Our room was light, bright, and beachy - we lucked out and even had our own private patio! Loved the wooden accents and wicker furniture in here.
One of my favorite things about our stay was the nightly wine hour, followed by cookies and milk before bedtime. We headed down to the lobby and treated ourselves to goodies, then brought them to the pool to enjoy. So lovely!
This fire pit was super dreamy. Eddie and I cozied up here with blankets and watched the sun set over the ocean, string lights twinkling and the fire keeping us warm.
The hotel is just steps away from Heisler Park, a beautiful place for a stroll, overlooking the ocean. We stopped by on our first evening before dinner.
Another one of my must viz spots when in Laguna is Sound Spectrum. I always find such fab records, and this time was no exception! Two of my faves, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald were there waiting for me.
How fun is this dress?? I felt like I was in a different era wearing it, carrying around my Polaroid cam while record hunting. So much fun!
On our last day Eddie and I visited Crystal Cove. I love coming here for the fun drinks at Bootlegger just steps from the beach! I can never resist a big two person cocktail - we got the Tonga Lei, it has hibiscus & elderflower, rum, mango citrónge, agave, pineapple & lime juices, and they bring it out to you smoking! Obsessed.
Just the perf lil getaway, we headed home at the end of our stay feeling refreshed and happy. Can’t wait till our next Laguna adventure!
Thank you to Laguna Beach House for hosting my stay - all opinions are my own, as always!
